Duties:
Trial experience
Researching and analyzing the law on complex legal issues
Writing memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documents
Maintaining a professional attitude with a strong sense of discretion
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational abilities and time management skills
Marketing services to prospective clients
Performing discovery of various electronically stored data and hard copies of information
Performing due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions
Managing a schedule to allow for consults and closure of consults
Closing consults within the firm's range of 30-50% depending on the practice area
Timely approval of invoices
Ensure support staff are fully utilized and productive
Accurately updating client information and invoices
Sharing work tasks with other attorneys and support staff
Actively engaging in brand expansion through blogs, social media posts, and organization participation
Seeking positive feedback from successful client engagements
Communicating and advising clients
Performing other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
Excellent legal research skills
Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school
Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the WA Bar
4-6 years of experience as an attorney
