Healthcare Human Resources Intern (Remote) About the Role: DiscoverU Health is looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Human Resources Intern (Remote) with prior HR experience, who is either currently enrolled in or has completed a master's degree in Human Resources. We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds as HR Assistants, Coordinators, Generalists, or HR Business Partners, as these roles align with our growing company's needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and help shape the HR practices of a health tech start-up.

As part of our team, you'll support the growth and retention of our talented clinical and administrative staff, advocating for both the organization and employees, while delivering exceptional customer service. This role also offers the potential for long-term career development within DiscoverU Health.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the full cycle of talent acquisition, from candidate sourcing to onboarding, for healthcare and administrative roles. Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent from both active and passive candidate pools. Build partnerships within the community to develop robust talent pipelines. Establish and refine standard operating procedures to improve compliance and efficiency. Utilize applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to streamline HR processes. Organize recruitment events at colleges, universities, and industry conferences. Provide support for client and care coordination as necessary. Manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines with strong time management skills. Participate in weekly meetings with the CEO to review HR initiatives and receive strategic direction. Qualifications: HR experience is required, preferably in a remote setting. Enrollment in or completion of a master's program in Human Resources is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or Communication. Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, CRM, and EHR systems. Additional Information: Please note that this is an unpaid remote role for six months, requiring a commitment of 20 hours per week, and is eligible for college credit. This internship has the potential to become a permanent position and lead to compensation after the internship is completed, contingent on performance and the company's growth and financial position at the time.
