We are seeking a Procurement Representative (Sr. Buyer) to help us solicit proposals, negotiate, award and administer procurements. Procurement activities encompass procuring various commercial goods and services. This position requires close communication with suppliers, program offices and management. Expediting deliveries and working in a team environment is essential for this position. We work in a highly dynamic team environment and are constantly looking for people with creative problem solving skills.

As a Procurement Representative... Your primary responsibility will be review incoming purchasing requirements and solicit quotes, negotiate and issue purchase orders. You will be have the opportunity to learn and use SharePoint for filing procurement actions. You will need to work closely with other procurement staff and management. You will need to communicate frequently with program and project managers, prime contract managers and suppliers. Qualifications You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you... Have a Bachelor 's Degree in a Business related discipline, or equivalent years of work experience Have 5 or more years of professional level procurement experience Strong organizational and interpersonal skills The ability to multi-task effectively You 'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you...
