We are seeking a Procurement Representative (Sr. Buyer) to help us solicit proposals, negotiate, award and administer procurements. Procurement activities encompass procuring various commercial goods and services. This position requires close communication with suppliers, program offices and management. Expediting deliveries and working in a team environment is essential for this position. We work in a highly dynamic team environment and are constantly looking for people with creative problem solving skills.
As a Procurement Representative... Your primary responsibility will be review incoming purchasing requirements and solicit quotes, negotiate and issue purchase orders. You will be have the opportunity to learn and use SharePoint for filing procurement actions. You will need to work closely with other procurement staff and management.
